"There is no doubt that my watch is to a certain extent a reproduction of one of the most popular watches in the world. Since this watch should convey a very special feeling, it is very important for me to write this text:

At the beginning of my partnership with Davosa, I wasn’t a big watch fan, but they made me one. All my life I have been and I am still a perfectionist and I have a lot of thoughts going on in my mind. It all started with photography, especially with analogue photography and their masterpieces in terms of cameras. I stumbled over watches, due to my passion and my fascination for perfectly mechanical manufactured objects. Although I am still very young, my interest in certain things, years of experience, and my know-how allows me to critically review some developments.

It is no secret that nowadays products (with exceptions) can no longer show any quality. Rarely does someone wear shoes longer than half a year or use a camera longer than two or three years. However, looking at mechanical watches is different, as they work longer than you live. That's what excites me the most. This beautiful piece, crafted from the highest quality materials, should remind people every day that this companion should give a very special feeling every time they look at the dial. Especially eternal companions, often remind you of the most beautiful moments of life. This watch is not a prestige object but built for people who value and appreciate mechanical watches and their quality. Not for those who want to wear overpriced, luxurious watches on their wrist and still check the time on their smartphone. I’ve been wearing watches every day for a couple of years now and I’ve found out which watchband is the right choice for which weather conditions. I am very proud that we have produced a watch which can be worn on the one hand in a very classic way, with a metal bracelet or on the other hand with a nylon strap (especially suitable for cold weather in the mountains) in very strong colours. This is intended for younger people who practice water sports, as this strap variant is perfectly suited for this and the colour is very much based on the surfing scene. In summary, the watch should be suitable for old and young as well as for a sporty or an unsportsmanlike person. The bracelet variations make the watch very versatile and the neon orange GMT pointer has a very special meaning for me: In life one should try to remain as faithful to oneself as possible, not to be influenced too much by other people, to listen to oneself, to make one's own decisions and not to give up.

You can’t reinvent this watch, but with a good idea and a little courage you can create a good looking and colourful watch. Why did I choose signal Orange (Neon Orange)? Originally this is because my parents were passionate windsurfers in the late 80s and early 90s. At that time the neon colours were totally modern and so I got in touch with these colours. They remind me of my childhood, where I come from and what my values are. Furthermore, it is very visible especially in the early morning hours and is still a very common colour used in water sports.
