This is a very nice watch and the finish is great. I thought the watch would look to bulky at 40mm, but this watch fits perfectly on my 7.25 wrist. As a great homage to the Submariner, it’s a no brainer.

I love the design language of the watch-that-shall-not be named but I would find myself reluctant to save for that purchase. This incredibly well made Swiss alternative is a superior option in my mind. I looked at several competitors in this price level and Davosa's components were better than the others. Plus, Davosa's catalogue doesn't just rest on this model which has made me interested in this maker for other watches. The modifications Davosa has done to the movement are incredibly precise and it runs like a top. I like the cyclops date and for someone like me who finds it harder and harder to read a date window, this is a plus. The bracelet was superb and dream to re-size for my smaller 6 1/4in wrist (remove 4 links and set at 2 on the clasp adjust in 20 minutes tops). The watch rests neatly with no gap. The bezel action is incredibly precise, if a bit stiff, which is fine with me. The blue tint lume is an awesome contrast to the dark green of the dial and bezel which appears almost black in some natural light. Speaking of the dark green of the bezel and dial, this makes it extremely versatile color-wise to go blend with clothing options. Shipping was insanely fast along with communications: from factory to my East Coast U.S. home, 3 days...which is a COVID world is a practical miracle.
