A striking triangle marks the "12" o'clock position; in the past, a cursory glance had to suffice for pilots to recognize the position of the hands beyond doubt to reliably read the time. The large Arabic numerals and additional indexes on a black background as well as the diamond-shaped hands underline the good readability. In addition, all elements are noctilucent thanks to the use of the latest luminous material SuperLumiNova BG W9, which illuminates the dial with a blue glow in the dark.

EASY TO GRIP CROWN

The conical crown is designed with its shape and external fluting so that it can also be easily operated by gloved hands. An important element, the usual "uniform" of the aviation pioneers of days gone by consisted, among other things, of a leather cap, flying goggles, and leather gloves.
